Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we do require a security deposit at the time of booking.  All deposits are non-refundable, so be sure of details like location, date, etc. before booking.  The deposit secures your booking.  The remainder of the amount must be paid at least 7 days before the start of your party.


Is gratuity included in your prices?

No, gratuity for our entertainers is not included in our prices.  Tips are customarily $20-$100 per staff member at the event.  However, any amount you give will be greatly appreciated by our entertainers.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking as soon as you know the details of your event.  We operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, meaning if we have already been booked on that day, we may not be able to service your party.  The sooner you book, the more likely we are to have an available entertainer who can play your desired character.

We may also travel further out for an additional mileage fee.  Feel free to inquire about your location if your city is not listed.

Where does Wish Upon A Party travel for parties?

What time should the character(s) arrive?

We recommend having your characters arrive at least 15-30 minutes after your guests are set to arrive.  Your characters arriving should be a special moment for your child and your guests.  If guests are arriving at the same time as the character, it can be distracting or even overwhelming to your child.

Do I need to rent a venue?

No, you do not have to rent a venue unless you decide to.  Most of the parties we service are at the client's home.  We service parties in living rooms, backyards, businesses, meeting rooms in movie theaters, parks, etc.  The location is up to you, as long as it fits with our guidelines (listed below).

Guidelines and policies

Wish Upon A Party and its owners, operators, and employees assume no liability for any accidents or allergies. As the client, you assume all responsibility and liability for all guests.

AT LEAST one parent/guardian must be present at every event, for the duration of the event.  Our characters are booked to entertain, but a parent must be present to supervise the party and step in in the case of an unruly guest, child or adult.

If your party is outside, you MUST provide an indoor backup location in the case of possibly damaging weather.

We will never share any information that you provide us except to complete our services.
